The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program recognizes public and private elementary, middle, and high schools based on their overall academic excellence or their progress in closing achievement gaps among student subgroups. Every year the U. S. Department of Education seeks out and celebrates great American schools, schools demonstrating that all students can achieve to high levels.

Overview of the NC Education Corps

COVID-19 has had a drastic impact on education across our state. Late last year, the NC Education Corps was launched to address some of the challenges by providing additional support for students. The North Carolina Education Corps partners with local schools to recruit, educate, and activate corps members to support students and accelerate learning.
